The Presidents' Network, Inc. (PresNet) is the incorporated
successor to an organization of small colleges that was founded
in 1958 and has operated continually since that time. The
organization took on its present form in 1993 when PresNet,
Inc. established corporate headquarters in South Carolina.
The original purpose remains:
To support Higher Education in North America and to
help Colleges and Universities work together to accomplish
goals that they could not accomplish individually.
The organization exists to provide answers to the question,
"What can we do together that is too expensive or too difficult
to do alone?".
PresNet remains primarily a membership organization offering
services to a consortium of more than 90 American Universities
as well as 25 Canadian Universities and other Universities
in Europe and Asia. PresNet Consulting Services are available
to both Member Universities and Non-Member Universities as
well as other educational organizations and companies. PresNet
has provided consulting services in admissions, sales, marketing,
web design, internet recruiting, fundraising, business procedures,
administration, curriculum design, facilities design and management,
legal services, mediation, health insurance, benefits packages,
accreditation, staffing, and more.
Personnel available for consulting come both from the central
office of PresNet and from the colleges and universities of
the organization. The central administrative staff includes
